We collect little, and we sell none of it
This page says exactly what we collect, why we have it, who else sees it, and how to make us delete it. If something here is unclear, call and ask — that is faster than a policy page can ever be.

The short version
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we never have. We collect what the work needs and nothing for its own sake.
Everything below is detail on that. The controller of this information is Talk Circles LLC, a Nevada limited liability company operating from Mount Shasta, California, which operates Unstuck.
What we collect
When you reach out. If you leave a voicemail or send a message through the site, we receive what you gave us: your recording or written message, the email address or phone number you asked us to reply to, and any name or subject you added. We keep it so we can answer you and remember the conversation.
When you visit. Like most sites, ours records basic analytics — pages viewed, rough location by region, device and browser type, how you arrived, and how long you stayed. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics for this. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes an abbreviated form of your IP address. We use this to understand which pages are useful, not to identify you.
When you have a client log-in. If you are an active client with access to a project area, we hold your account details and the materials belonging to your engagement.
When we work together. An engagement means we will hold ordinary business information about you — contacts, correspondence, invoices — and, depending on the work, access to systems and content you give us. That access is only ever what the scope requires, and it ends when the engagement does.
We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not ask for it. We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13.
Why we have it
- To reply to you, and to remember what we last talked about.
- To deliver, invoice, and support the work you engaged us for.
- To understand which pages of this site are worth keeping, in aggregate.
- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, which is the main reason we hold anything longer than we’d like to.
- To keep the site and our clients’ systems secure.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not feed client material into public AI tools. Where AI is used in the work, it is named in the scope and a person reviews everything it touches — and you can opt out of it entirely. The approach is on the AI & the work page.
Who else sees it
A short list of service providers, each doing one job, none of them buying anything from us:
- Hosting and infrastructure — to run the site and store data.
- Analytics — Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, as described above.
- Email and communication tools — to receive and answer your message.
- Payment processing — handled entirely by a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where they need it.
We will also disclose information where the law genuinely requires it. If the business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer as part of it, and this policy travels with it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising — as those terms are defined under California law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and messages: as long as the conversation is live, and for a reasonable period after in case it resumes. Client records: for the engagement and then as long as tax and legal obligations require, typically seven years for anything financial. Analytics: on the providers’ standard retention schedules, in aggregate.
Working access to your systems ends when the engagement ends. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
How it's protected
The site is served over encrypted connections, data sits with established managed providers rather than on machines under a desk, access is limited to the people who need it for your work, and credentials you share with us are held in a password manager, never in email or a spreadsheet.
No system is perfectly secure, and anyone claiming otherwise is overselling. If a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you promptly and plainly.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA — to know, to delete, to correct, to opt out of sale or sharing (there is nothing to opt out of, because we do neither), and not to be treated differently for exercising any of them.
To exercise any of this, email people@talkcircles.io or call (415) 595-8935. We will respond within 45 days, and usually a great deal sooner. We may need to confirm who you are first — that protects you, not us.
You can also refuse analytics cookies through your browser settings or Google’s opt-out tools, and the site will work exactly the same.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when what we collect changes. The revision date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change is material and affects people we are actively working with, we will say so directly rather than quietly editing the page.
Unstuck is the path-consultation service line of Talk Circles LLC, a Nevada limited liability company operating from Mount Shasta, California. Unstuck is a brand, not a separate company: every agreement, invoice, and payment is made with Talk Circles LLC. Charges appear on your statement as TALK CIRCLES LLC.
A real person replies the same day. If a charge or a clause here doesn’t look right, call before you dispute it — we can almost always sort it out in one conversation.
