How Unstuck designed and printed Campus's full event kit in one week
With a marquee college-golf recruiting event in San Diego a week out and no booth presence, Unstuck designed, brand-checked, print-proofed, and delivered Campus's entire event kit (backdrop, step-and-repeat, pull-up banners, and signage) just in time for doors.

The challenge: a marquee event, one week, no booth
Campus, a college-golf recruiting platform, had a marquee event in San Diego bearing down and nothing to show up with. The backdrop, the step-and-repeat wall, the pull-up banners, and the floor signage were all still unmade, with barely a week on the clock.
Event print is the one deadline you cannot move. Doors open when they open, and large-format printing needs proofing, production, and shipping time baked in before that. A day lost on the design side is a day the printer doesn't have. The margin for error was effectively zero.
The approach: design, brand-check, and print-proof in parallel
We ran the whole kit as one sprint instead of a sequence. The backdrop led: a bold “Where do you dream of playing college golf?” map of the country studded with college program marks, anchored by the recruiting stats and a scan-to-start call to action. Every other piece was designed off that same system so the booth would read as one coherent environment, not a set of mismatched banners.
Design, brand consistency, and print-readiness moved together. Files were built to each printer's spec (bleed, resolution, and finish resolved up front) so nothing bounced back at the proof stage and burned days we didn't have. The step-and-repeat wall, the “Recruit smarter, not harder” pull-up banners, and the floor and recruiting signage all came out of the same design language.

The outcome: a booth that looked planned for months
Everything printed and arrived on the floor in San Diego, on time for doors. The booth looked like it had been planned for months, a full, coherent environment rather than a rushed patch job, and it did its job: Campus pulled crowds and photos across the weekend, with attendees stepping up to the backdrop and scanning to start recruiting profiles.
And it kept paying off. Because the kit was designed as a reusable system, Campus didn't just rent a weekend; they walked away owning an event kit they can bring to the next event, and the one after that. The one-week scramble became a permanent asset.
Event print has the one deadline you can't renegotiate. The whole job is designing at speed without letting the booth look like it was designed at speed.
- ~1 weekconcept to delivered-on-floor
- 4+print deliverables designed & produced
- On timelanded for doors in San Diego
- Reusablekit Campus now owns for future events

- What did Unstuck create for Campus?
- Unstuck designed and produced Campus's entire event kit for a San Diego recruiting event: the main backdrop, the step-and-repeat photo wall, the “Recruit smarter” pull-up banners, and the floor and recruiting signage, including brand-checking, print-proofing, and managing production and delivery.
- How fast was the Campus event kit turned around?
- The full kit went from concept to delivered-on-floor in roughly one week. Design, brand consistency, and print-readiness were run in parallel so large-format production and shipping still had the time they needed to hit the event doors.
- Can the Campus event materials be reused?
- Yes. The kit was designed as a reusable system, so Campus retained an event kit they own and can bring to future events rather than remaking everything each time.
